Gunsmith Cats Anime Review
The anime avoids the less enjoyable parts of the main story but the manga has more depth to the characters.
Gunsmith cats anime review. Short anime but it is explosive and addictive. With bounty hunters ATF local cops and gunrunners its hard to go wrong with this anime if your looking for a good action fix that is grounded in reality. Thats Gunsmith Cats.
Getting to know them. NTSC seems at first glance to have the edge over the NTSC-PAL anime transfers we normally get in the UK but a few minutes with the flicker the jaggies and the over-saturated colours have me thinking that the slightly smoother animation just isnt enough. Gunsmith Cats GSC is not that anime.
The animation is smooth and fast when it counts augmenting the action in all of its improbable glory. So too the Kickstarter campaign that funded a re-issue a few years back now I love so much about this series but Im torn when it comes to rating Gunsmith Cats. The story is great at least as far as cop stories go.
Some anime have deep compelling stories that hook the viewers by the heartstrings. Gunsmith Cats maybe still holds that cult status now even after the internet has no doubt introduced more folks to this mid-90s OVA. From the slang and dialogue used to the sound effects themselves Gunsmith Cats looks and sounds like a gritty grey suburb of modern.
With its older style artwork retro music and over the top shootouts youd be hard pressed not to feel a tinge of nostalgia if youre an older anime fan. The series describes the adventures of young women fighting. Posted on December 6 2017 by rentedtitan This review contains spoilers.
